Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se věnuje problematice motivace a sebeúčinnosti v oblasti čtení u žáků 2. stupně s dyslexií, kteří navštěvují běžnou základní školu. Hlavním cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit, jak se dyslexie promítá do vnitřní motivace číst a sebeúčinnosti u žáků s dyslexií, a to v komparaci s vnitřní motivací a sebeúčinností u žáků bez dyslexie. Následně bylo zkoumáno, jaký mají mezi sebou vztah faktory sebeúčinnosti a vnitřní motivace. Bádání se orientovalo také na hlavní faktory motivující tyto skupiny žáků ke čtení a ty, které je od čtení naopak odrazují. K výzkumu bylo přistupováno kvantitativně. Ke sběru dat byl použit nestandardizovaný dotazník s využitím Likertovy škály a získaná data byla zpracována statisticky. Výzkumný vzorek zahrnuje žáky ve věku 11-15 let, kteří navštěvují běžnou základní školu v různých částech České republiky. Respondenti byli dále rozděleni rovnoměrným výběrem na žáky, kteří mají dle doporučení školského poradenského zařízení diagnostikovanou dyslexii a na žáky bez doporučení a dyslektických obtíží. V obou skupinách je stejný počet subjektů. Bylo zjištěno, že dyslexie koreluje s nižší motivací číst i nižší vnímanou účinností. Míra vnitřní motivace i sebeúčinnosti byla u žáků s dyslexií významně nižší než u žáků bez dyslexie. Odhalena byla také statisticky významná pozitivní závislost mezi skóre vnitřní motivace ke čtení a skóre sebeúčinnosti. Výzkumné šetření rovněž přineslo zjištění, že nejvíce motivujícím faktorem ke čtení pro žáky s dyslexií i bez dyslexie je nalezení žánru, který je baví. Nicméně lze poukázat i na rozdíly v tom, jaké faktory dále ovlivňují jejich motivaci číst. Žáci s dyslexií jsou častěji motivováni vnějšími faktory, jako jsou dobré známky nebo pochvala za čtení, zatímco žáci bez dyslexie se spíše řídí vnitřními motivy, jako je dozvídání se nových informací. Významnější rozdíl je také ve vnímání čtení - žáci s dyslexií častěji označili čtení za namáhavé i nudné a preferují raději jiné aktivity.

Abstract:

The presented thesis focuses on the issue of motivation and self-efficacy in the area of reading among pupils with dyslexia in the 2nd stage of primary education, attending regular primary schools. The main aim of the research was to determine how dyslexia affects the motivation to read and self-efficacy in pupils with dyslexia compared to pupils without dyslexia, by comparing the levels of intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy between those these examined groups. Subsequently, the study examined the relationship between the factors of self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation. The research also focused on the main factors motivating both groups of pupils to read and those that discourage them from reading. The research approach was quantitative. Data collection utilized a non-standardized questionnaire using the Likert scale, and the obtained data was statistically processed. The research sample includes pupils aged 11-15 years attending regular primary schools in various parts of the Czech Republic. Respondents were further evenly divided into pupils diagnosed with dyslexia according to the recommendation of the school counseling facility and pupils without such recommendations and dyslexic difficulties. Both groups have the same number of subjects. It was found that dyslexia correlates with lower motivation to read and lower perceived effectiveness. The level of intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy was significantly lower in pupils with dyslexia than in pupils without dyslexia. A statistically significant positive correlation was also found between the score of intrinsic motivation to read and the score of self-efficacy. The research also revealed that the most motivating factor for both pupils with and without dyslexia to read is finding a genre they enjoy. However, there are differences in the factors that further influence their motivation to read. Pupils with dyslexia are more often motivated by external factors, such as good grades or praise for reading, while pupils without dyslexia are more guided by internal motives, such as learning new information. There is also a significant difference in the perception of readingpupils with dyslexia more frequently described reading difficult and boring and prefer other activities instead.
