Analysis of the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on tourism companies in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu dopadů pandemie covid-19 na příjezdový a výjezdový cestovní ruch. První část je věnována základnímu popisu pandemie a restrikcím, které omezily cestovní ruch. Následně je práce zaměřena na analýzu vlivu pandemie na příjezdový a výjezdový cestovní ruch a s tím související kvantifikaci na základě ročních a čtvrtletních časových řad. Další část analyzuje důsledky pandemie na platební bilanci cestovního ruchu a na opatření na podporu ekonomiky. Na základě provedené analýzy časových řad byly kvantifikovány důsledky pandemie na vybrané podniky cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on inbound and outbound tourism. The first part is devoted to a basic description of the pandemic and the restrictions that have limited tourism. Subsequently, the work focuses on the analysis of the impact of the pandemic on inbound and outbound tourism and related quantifications based on annual and quarterly time series. The next section analyzes the consequences of the pandemic on the balance of payments of tourism and on measures to support the economy. The consequences of the pandemic on selected tourism enterprises were quantified on the basis of time series analyzes.
