Wheelchair curling as a modern paralympic sport - videoprogram

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce s názvem Wheelchair curling jako moderní paralympijský sport, bylo vytvoření videa seznamujícího širokou veřejnost s poměrně mladým sportem pro tělesně postižené jedince. V teoretické části jsem se soustředil na XI. Zimní paralympijské hry v Soči, konkrétně na průběh turnaje curlingu vozíčkářů. Snažil jsem se o zápis z každého zápasu, zdůraznit klíčové okamžiky, které rozhodly o konečném stavu. Zápasy jsem zapsal dle herních dnů v pořadí, jak šly za sebou. Od základního kola po semifinálová a finálová utkání. Další kapitolou bylo sepsání mých vzpomínek na tento turnaj a na konání paralympijských her vůbec. V praktické části, v mém případě videoprogram, který popisuje wheelchair curling, jsem natočil a sestříhal film do několika částí. Ve videu jsou dva životní příběhy curlerů, jedním z nich je kapitán české reprezentace Radek Musílek a druhou je Kanadská hráčka Sonja Gaudetová. Dále ve videu najdete popis curlingu vozíčkářů, a to přímo od pana Musílka, který vypráví o tomto sportu z vlastních zkušeností a dnes již jedenáctileté praxe. Následuje popsání současného stavu curlingu vozíčkářů v České Republice. Na ukázku jsem vybral dva turnaje. Jedním je každoroční mezinárodní turnaj konaný v Praze a druhým je sestřih nejlepších záběrů ze zimních paralympijských her v Soči.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis named a Wheelchair curling as a modern Paralympic sport, was to create a video and introduce it to the general public with a relatively young sport for disabled individuals. In the theoretical part I focused on XI. Winter Paralympic Games in Sochi, focusing to the tournament wheelchair curling. I tried the describe every game, highlight the key moments that decide the final score. Matches I wrote according to game days in the order they went behind. From the preliminary round then the semifinal and final matches. Another chapter was to cover my memories and thoughts of this tournament and Paralympic Games that I went to. In the practical part, in my case videoprogram that describes wheelchair curling, I shot and edited the film into several parts. In the video there are two life stories of curlers, one of them is the captain of the Czech national team Radek Musílek, and the second is the Canadian player Sonja Gaudet. Furthermore, in the video you can find a description of wheelchair curling, directly from Mr. Musílek, which tells about the sport from his own experience and now eleven years experience. Then describe the current state of wheelchair curling in the Czech Republic. And the show, I chose two tournaments. One of them is an annual international tournament held in Prague and the second is a highlight video of the best shots of the Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi.
