Current unemployment in the Czech republic, causes and consequences

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá nezaměstnaností a jejími sociálními dopady a dopady na lidské zdraví jedince. Je složena z teoretické a praktické části. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, které problémy nezaměstnanost způsobuje a jaký vliv má ztráta zaměstnání na psychiku jedince. V teoretické části je charakterizována nezaměstnanost a s ní spojené pojmy. Je vysvětlen pojem trh práce a státní politika zaměstnanosti, včetně podpor státu v rámci koronavirové pandemie. Následně se zabývá sociálními důsledky nezaměstnanosti, a jakým způsobem tyto důsledky ovlivňují jedince a jeho rodinu. Následně se zabývá vlivem nezaměstnanosti na psychické zdraví člověka, a též nejsou vynechány somatická onemocnění, která jsou způsobena psychickým onemocněním, která nezaměstnanost mohla podpořit. V poslední kapitole se práce zabývá historií a vývojem nezaměstnanosti v České republice. Jsou zmíněny významné události (od pádu socialismu, hospodářské krize, vstupu ČR do Evropské unie, po vznik koronavirové pandemie). Praktická část práce analyzuje názory zaměstnaných i nezaměstnaných lidí a jejich životní styl. K tomu je využito dotazníkového šetření a řízeného rozhovoru.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with unemployment and its social impacts and impacts on the human health of the individual. It consists of a theoretical and practical part. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out what problems unemployment causes and what effect the loss of employment has on the psyche of the individual. In the theoretical part, unemployment and related concepts are characterized. The concept of the labour market and state employment policy, including state aid under the coronavirus pandemic, is explained. It then deals with the social consequences of unemployment and how these consequences affect the individual and his family. Subsequently, it deals with the effect of unemployment on a person's mental health, and somatic diseases, which are caused by mental illness, which could have supported unemployment, are not omitted. In the last chapter, the thesis deals with the history and development of unemployment in the Czech Republic. Important events are mentioned (from the fall of socialism, the economic crisis, the Czech Republic's accession to the Evropean Union, to the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic). The practical part of the work analyses the opinions of both employed and unemployed people and their lifestyle. A questionnaire survey and interview are used for this.
