Communication of persons with aphasia

Anotace:

Tématem diplomové práce je komunikace osob s afázií. První tři kapitoly diplomové práce jsou teoretickými východisky pro výzkumnou část. První kapitola popisuje anatomickou stavbu mozku, analyzuje činnost centrálního a periferního nervového systému. Ve druhé kapitole je rozpracována problematika afázie. Seznamuje čtenáře s definicí, symptomatologií, etiologií, klasifikací, diagnostikou a terapií daného postižení. Základem třetí kapitoly je téma komunikace. Zabývá se definicí, popisem různých druhů komunikace a v závěrečné části rovněž specifiky komunikace u osob s afázií. Východiskem čtvrté kapitoly je kvalitativní výzkum. V diplomové práci je zpracováno šest případů konkrétních osob, které prodělaly cévní mozkovou příhodu s následkem afázie. Hlavním cílem výzkumného šetření bylo analyzovat, které komunikační formy používají osoby s afázií v různých prostředích každodenního života.

Abstract:

The theme of the thesis is the communication of people with aphasia. The first three chapters of the thesis are the theoretical basis for the research part. The first chapter describes the anatomical structure of the brain analyzes the activity of the Central and peripheral nervous system. In the second chapter it is elaborated the issue of aphasia. Acquaints the reader with the definition, symptomatology, etiology, classification, diagnostics and therapy of the disability. The basis of the third chapter is the topic of communication. It deals with definitions, a description of the different types of communication and also features in the final part of communication for persons with aphasia. The starting point of the fourth chapter is qualitative research. In the thesis is handled six cases of specific individuals who have experienced a stroke resulting in aphasia. The main aim of the research was to analyze the investigation which forms of communication used by a person with aphasia in different environments of everyday life.
