The analysis of the financial, social and demographic conditions of inhabitans of town in the 17th and the 18th century

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá demografickými, hospodářskými a sociálními poměry obyvatel městečka Jevišovice v 17. a druhé polovině 18. století. Výzkum je založen na analýze pozemkové knihy městečka, farních matrik a dalších doplňkových pramenů. První část práce se zaměřuje populační vývoj, životní cyklus a rodinné struktury obyvatel Jevišovic. Druhá část práce se zabývá cenami usedlostí, rozsahu splátkového systému a majetkovými transfery usedlostí. Výsledky bádání jsou porovnány výsledky výzkumů uskutečněných v různých lokalitách na území Moravy a Čech.

Abstract:

The Thesis deals with the demographic, economic and social conditions of inhabitants of a small town Jevišovice in the 17th and the first half of the 18th century. The research is based on the analysis of the Land Register of the town, Parish Registers and additional sources. The first part of the Thesis focuses on the population development, life cycle and the family structures of inhabitants in Jevišovice. The second part of the Thesis deals with prices of homesteads, the range of the instalment system and property transfers of homesteads. The results of the research are compared with the results of other research sites carried out on the territory of Moravia and Bohemia.
