Active Learning Strategy at Primary Education

Abstract:

Tématem této práce jsou aktivizující výukové strategie využitelné v primárním vzdělávání. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol, nejprve je stručně popsán rámcově vzdělávací program pro základní školy, dále pak motivace žáků a různé stupně aktivity. Značný prostor je věnován aktivizujícím výukových strategiím a charakteristice jednotlivých metod, zejména je však specifikována didaktická hra, která zábavnou formu směřuje k naplnění vytyčeného edukačního cíle. Záměrem výzkumné části práce je na podkladě interwiev a pozorování výuky zjistit, jestli učitelé učební proces obohacují aktivizujícími výukovými metodami nebo jsou spíše zastánci tradičního způsobu výuky. Stejné metody posloužili i při shromaždování 22 didaktických her a při následné tvorbě sborníku, který může sloužit jako příklad dobré praxe a inspirace při hledání výukových inovací. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že všech osm učitelů do výuky zařazuje didaktické hry, pět z nich i jiné aktivizující výukové strategie. Komparace výpovědi jedné učitelky a pozorování jejích hodin též odhalilo fakt, že učitelka si využívání mnohých aktivizujících strategií neuvědomuje, ačkoli je běžně do hodin aplikuje. Jednalo se zejména o řešení problémů.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is the Active Teaching Strategies that can be used in primary education. The theoretical part of the thesis divided to five chapters. First, the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education is briefly described, as well as motivation of a students and several phases of activity. The emphasis is on Active Learning Strategies and the characteristics of each method, especially educational game, which is pleasant way to induce children to fill stated educational aims. The aim of the research is find out if the teachers prefer the traditional way to teach, or if they are more for Active Teaching Methods. The research is based on interview and observation of teaching. The same methods were used to obtain 22 educational games and creation of quier, which can be used as a great example of a good practice and inspiration for looking other innovations in education. The research revealed, that all of the eight teachers include educational games, even five of them used another Active Learning Strategies. Comparing the answers of one of the teacher with the observation in her lessons also revealed, that she does not realize, she is using many Active Strategies, even if she usually applies them to teaching, especially was about solving problem.
