Diplomová práce se ve své teoretické části zabývá problematikou sociálního vyloučení, charakteristikou sociálně vyloučených lokalit a etnicitou a vzděláváním žáků v sociálně vyloučených lokalitách. Podrobněji se věnuje osobnosti speciálního pedagoga, jeho odbornosti a kompetencím, které jsou nástrojem pro vykonávání jeho profese na základní škole i mimo ni. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis examines the issue of social exclusion, characteristics of socially excluded areas, ethnicity and primary education in socially excluded areas. It focuses on the role of a special education teacher, the expertise and competence necessary for the profession both in and out of school.
