Control and aid in assistant professions focusing upon selected services for seniors

Abstract:

Téma zadání bakalářské práce je zaměřeno na problematiku kontroly a pomoci pomáhajících profesí se zaměřením na vybrané služby pro seniory. V prvních kapitolách se práce věnuje vývoji sociálních služeb a vymezení problému kontroly a pomoci v sociálních službách. Následně jsou v bakalářské práci definována etická dilemata, která jsou úzce propojená s tématem celé práce. V další části se práce věnuje profesní etice a etickým aspektům pomáhajících profesí, které jsou nedílnou součástí charakteru pracovníků v sociálních službách. V bakalářské práci je charakteristika vybraných pobytových služeb pro seniory, jejich personální zajištění a popis cílové skupiny. V závěrečné části se bakalářská práce věnuje případovým studiím, které mají nastínit problematické situace, které jsou pracovníci v pomáhajících profesích nuceni každodenně řešit a následně vymezuje možná řešení problematických situací v rámci kontroly a pomoci.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis focuses upon the issue of control and help of assistant professions focusing upon selected services for seniors. The first chapters of the thesis are dedicated to the definition of the issue of control and assistance in social services. Thereafter, the thesis defines ethics dilemmas which are closely related to the entire topic of the thesis in general. The following section of the thesis focuses upon professional ethics and ethical aspects of the assistant professions which form an integral part of the character of social service workers. The bachelor thesis provides characteristics of selected stay services for seniors, their staffing and description of the target group. In its conclusion the bachelor thesis describes case studies the purpose of which is to illustrate problematic situations which people working in assistant professions have to face in their everyday work; thereafter possible solutions of the problematic situations within the scope of control and assistance are defined.
