Abstract:
Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zhodnotit postavení institutu Veřejného ochránce práv, který je součástí kontrolního systému veřejné správy. V teoretické části je obsažen historický vývoj instituce a její charakteristika. Dále vymezení působnosti a pravomocí Veřejného ochránce práv. Praktická část obsahuje vybrané praktické případy, které Veřejný ochránce práv řešil a jejich zhodnocení.

The aim of my bachelor is to evaluate the position of the institute of the Public right protec-tor, which is part of the control system of public administration.
