Germany's energy policy and its influence on industry

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou energetické politiky Německa a jejím vlivem na průmysl země. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnocení současné situace energetické politiky v Německu za pomoci verbální analýzy a rozbor rizik a výzev, kterým Německo v dnešní době čelí. Energetická politika je posuzována na základě trendu spočívajícím v odklonu od jaderné energie a přechodu k obnovitelným zdrojům. Dílčím cílem je posouzení možných důsledků energetické transformace a jejich vliv na průmysl země, konkurenceschopnost, pracovní trh a klimatické cíle. Část práce je věnována taktéž zhodnocení energetického mixu Německa a přehledu událostí vedoucích k samotné změně směru energetické politiky.

Abstract:

The Master's thesis deals with the question of Germany's energy policy and its impact on industry. The main objective is to assess the current situation of energy policy in Germany through verbal analysis and analysis of risks and challenges that Germany is facing today. Energy policy is assessed on the basis of a move away from nuclear energy and the transition to renewables. A partial objective is to assess the potential consequences of the energy transformation and their impact on Germany's industry, competitiveness, labor market and climate goals. The work also deals with the evaluation of the energy mix in Germany and a summary of events leading up to the actual change in the direction of energy policy.
