Social networks problem

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se snaží o popsání problémů, které jsou spojeny s tématem sociálních sítí. V úvodní kapitole je nadnesen a stručně definován pojem nových médií. V další části se práce pokouší charakterizovat vývoj sociálních sítí nejen ve světě, ale i v České republice. Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou náhledem do historie, problematiky a konkurenčního prostředí nejznámějších sociálních sítí 21. století: Facebooku, Googlu +, LinkedInu a Twitteru. Jedná se o poukázání na změny, které společnosti přináší existence sociálních sítí, a to zejména narušení soukromí člověka, krádeže identit a existence identit falešných, změna pohledu na instituci přátelství. Součástí práce je také výzkum, který se týká reklamy umístěné na sociálních sítích. Výzkum staví do protikladu dva úhly pohledu na tuto reklamu, na jedné straně pohled zadavatele reklamy a na straně druhé pohled příjemce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis attempts at depicting the problems connected to the issue of social networks. In the first chapter, the concept of new media is introduced and briefly defined. In other sections, the thesis endeavours to characterize the development of social networks not only worldwide, but also in the Czech Republic. Individual chapters are views on history, traits and competitive space of the 21th-century best-known social networks: Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, and Twitter. They concern showing the changes that the social networks bring to society, to wit violation of a person?s privacy, identity thefts and false identities, a change of the concept of friendship. The thesis also comprises research that deals with the social network advertising. The research puts into opposition two points of view on the advertisement ? the one of an advertiser, and the other of a receiver.
