China and Asia in 21st century – challenge or a threat to world economy?

Abstract:

Práce popisuje jak Čína, Rusko a ostatní Asijské státy zažívají mohutný ekonomický a s tím spojený vojenský růst v průběhu 20. a 21. století. Zároveň stojí za pozornost, že velká část těchto států získala přístup k atomovým zbraním. Máme se těchto států obávat, nebo je brát jako možnost, jak se dostat k levné pracovní síle, která je zvyklá pracovat a dokáže vyrobit téměř vše? V návrhové je bude na příkladu konkrétní České firmy popisujeme, jaké trable zažila Česká firma díky kopírování ze strany Číny a na příkladu smyšlené České společnosti si ukazujeme, nakolik je pro České firmy stále výhodné působit na Čínském trhu, či nakolik je rostoucí míra rizik vede k jeho opouštění.

Abstract:

The work describes how China, Russia, and other Asian states have experienced significant economic and military growth during the 20th and 21st centuries. It is also noteworthy that a large part of these states has gained access to nuclear weapons. Should we be afraid of these states or consider them as an opportunity to access cheap labor, which is accustomed to working and can produce almost anything? In the design section, we will use a specific Czech company as an example to describe the troubles experienced by the Czech company due to copying by China. Using a hypothetical Czech company, we will show to what extent it is still advantageous for Czech companies to operate in the Chinese market, or whether the increasing level of risk is leading to its abandonment.
