This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of occurrence of resistance to carbapenem antibiotics, their mechanism, mean of their carryover and the possibilities of their detection. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice vzniku rezistence ke karbapenémovým antibiotikům, jejich mechanismu, způsobu přenosu a možností jejich detekce. Práce je zaměřená hlavně na karbapenemázy, které jsou důležitým mechanismem rezistence proti karbapenemovým antibiotikům.
