Diplomová práce se zabývá nejrozsáhlejším hnědouhelným revírem České republiky. V souladu s názvem je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. První z nich se zaobírá samotnými počátky těžby a dobou až do roku 1989. Druhá se blíže věnuje období od „Sametové revoluce“ do současnosti. Abstract:
The master thesis deals with the largest coal district of the Czech Republic. In accordance with its title, it is structured into three main chapters. The first one analyses beginnings of mining in the district and the following years until 1989. The second one deals with the period from the ‘Velvet Revolution’ to the present.
