Learning disabilities in a context of gross motor skills development

Abstract:

Práce se snaží vystihnout souvislost hrubé motoriky a specifických poruchu učení. V teoretické části práce popisuje specifické poruchy učení, jejich vymezení, diagnostiku a reedukaci. Vymezuje hrubou motoriku a její vývoj. Věnuje se vymezení dalších souvisejících pojmů. Představuje koncept cvičení Nash-Worthamové a Huntové. Výzkum popsaný v praktické části práce byl proveden s pěti dětmi ve věku od 2,5 do 13 let. U každého respondenta byla stanovena jiná výzkumná otázka a cviky vybrány na míru podle věku a toho, co bylo cílem výzkumu. Podařilo se odpovědět na výzkumné otázky. Cviky se ukázaly jako obzvlášť přínosné zejména pro cvičení s levorukým dítětem a s dítětem se zkříženou lateralitou. U pětiletého dítěte se zkrácenou podjazykovou uzdičkou a fyziologickou patlavostí cvičení vedlo k uspíšení nácviku některých hlásek a k celkovému zlepšení motoriky a tělesné koordinace. V diskusi jsou uvedena doporučení a možnosti využití cviků v mateřských školách speciálních, předškolních třídách intaktních mateřských škol, základních školách speciálních, především v inkluzivních třídách a na předmětech speciálněpedagogické péče a intervence.

Abstract:

The thesis attempts to point out the relation of gross motor and specific learning disorders. The theoretical part of the thesis describes learning disorders, their definition, diagnostics and reeducation. Defines gross motor and its development. Definition of other terms follows. Introduces concept of the exercises, according to Hunt and Nash-Wortham. Research described in the practical part of the thesis has been performed with five children from 2,5 to 13 years of age. To each participant has been stated separate research question and exercises chosen by age and research goal. All research questions has been answered. Exercises are considered beneficial, especially for left handed child with crossed laterality. Five year old with shortened frenulum of tongue and dyslaly exercise accelerated phone pronunciation and improved overall motor and physical condition. The discussion part brings recommendations for usage of the exercises in special kindergartens, general kindergardens, special elementary schools, especially inclusive classes and at subjects of special care and intervention.
