Information and Communication Technologies in Social Work Education

Abstract:

Informační a komunikační technologie představují pro výuku sociální práce výzvou, která nebyla doposud v České republice vědecky reflektovaná. Přitom již delší dobu existují projekty, které se snaží tuto formu vzdělávání podporovat. Některé z nich zřizuje časopis Sociální práce | Sociálna práca; právě tyto služby jsou v ohnisku zájmu této práce. Hlavní výzkumná otázka zní: „Jakým způsobem pracují při výuce učitelé předmětu Teorie a metody so­ciální práce se studenty sociální práce a informačními a komunikačními technologiemi?“ Tato práce se proto snaží ve své teoretické části shromáždit potřebné základní informace z ICT, teorie médií, pedagogiky a praxe výuky sociální práce tak, aby vytvořila kostru problematiky. Vysvětluje základní pojmy, dává do souvislostí hlavní témata a stanovuje otázky z nich vyplývající. V metodické části je popsáno, jakým způsobem byly informace získané v první části konfrontovány s realitou ve výzkumu. Vysvětleny jsou zde i cíle a okolnosti výzkumu. Průběh a výsledky bádání jsou potom uvedeny v závěrečné části, v níž jsou i doporučení autor a jejich implikace pro poskytovatele služeb, tedy pro časopis Sociální práce | Sociálna práca.

Abstract:

Information and communication technology is for social work education big challenge which has not been in the Czech Republic scientifically reflected upon. However, a longer period of time there are projects that seek to promote this form of education. Some of them establishes magazine Social Work | Social Work; these services are the focus of this work. The main research question is: "Which way techars of lesson Theory and methods of social workwork with students of social work and information and communication technology?" This thesis is trying in theoretical part to collect the necessary basic information from the information and communication technology, media theory, pedagogy and practice social work education so as to create the skeleton of the issue. It explains basic concepts, correlates the main topics and provides questions arising from them. The methodology section describes how the information was obtained in the first part are confronted withthe reality in research. Objectives and circumstances are explained here, too. The process and results of the research are presented in the final section, in which recommendations are authors and their implications for service providers, ie for the magazine Sociální práce | Sociálna práca (Czech and Slovak Social Work).
