Předkládaná disertační práce se zaměřuje na problematiku čtení v angličtině jako cizím jazyce u neslyšících vysokoškolských studentů. Téma bylo zkoumáno z pohledu toho, jak se jejich předchozí jazykové a čtenářské zkušenosti projevují ve čtení v cizím jazyce.
