Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá emoční inteligencí ve vztahu k osobní pohodě u zdravotnických pracovníků. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a výzkumnou. Teoretická část se v první kapitole věnuje historii a vymezení emoční inteligence, jejími modely a způsoby měření. Druhá kapitola se zabývá osobní pohodou. Nejdříve uvádí počátky zájmu o osobní pohodu, charakterizuje tento pojem. Dále se zabývá strukturou, determinanty a prediktory a také způsoby měření osobní pohody. Třetí kapitola uvádí definici pojmu stres, jeho zvládání. Popisuje stres ve vztahu k pracovnímu výkonu a souvislosti mezi stresem, emoční inteligencí a osobní pohodou. Čtvrtá kapitola věnuje pozornost sociálním, praktickým a emočním kompetencím zdravotnických pracovníků, emoční inteligenci, osobní pohodě a stresu u zdravotnických pracovníků. Na závěr se zabývá sociální práci ve zdravotnictví. Druhá část diplomové práce popisuje realizovaný výzkum, jehož hlavním cílem bylo analyzovat úroveň emoční inteligence zdravotnických pracovníků ve vztahu k osobní pohodě. Úroveň emoční inteligence, osobní pohody, vnímání zátěže a jejich vzájemné vztahy jsou u lékařů, rehabilitačních pracovníků a sester zkoumány pomocí metod statistické analýzy. Zjištěné poznatky jsou přehledně prezentovány a diskutovány.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with emotional intelligence in relation to well-being of clinical staff. It is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part, in the first chapter, deals with the history and definition of emotional intelligence, its models and measurements. The second chapter deals with the well-being. First there is a statement about the beginning of interest into the well-being and characterizes this concept. Next it also deals with the structure, determinants and predictors, as well as ways of measurements of well-being. The third chapter introduces the concept of stress and how to manage stress. It describes the stress related to job performance and the relationship between stress, emotional intelligence and well-being. The forth chapter pays attention to social, practical and emotional competencies of clinical staff, as well as emotional intelligence, well-being and stress situations of healthcare staff. In conclusion there is an information about the social work in health care environment. The second part of the thesis describes realized research whose main objective was to analyze the level of emotional intelligence of medical staff in relation to well-being. The level of emotional intelligence, well-being, perception of stress and their mutual relations are with doctors, physiotherapists and nurses examined by methods of statistical analysis. Determined findings are clearly presented and discussed.
