Teoretická část práce odkrývá kreativní a technické postupy, na kterých je založená výroba 3D animovaného filmu V první řadě přináší pohled na originální koncepty, náměty, skice a další procesy před výrobou filmu. V dalších kapitolách se zaměřuje na technologii a jejívyužití k dosažení výsledné animace, v neposlední řadě provází čtenáře mnoha fázemi produkce.
