Didactic use of board games in primary school education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím deskových her jako motivačního prvku výuky a jako didaktický prostředek ve výuce. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část je vhled do tématiky didaktických a metodických prostředků ve výuce na 1. stupni ZŠ ve spojitosti s hrou. Rozvoj klíčových kompetencí za použití deskové hry jako didaktického prostředku k naplnění cílů vzdělávání na 1. stupni ZŠ v souladu s RVP ZV. Empirická část obsahuje kvantitativní a kvalitativní šetření. Pro kvantitativní šetření je využito dotazníků mezi učiteli 1. stupně ZŠ se zaměřením na využívání deskových her (n=89). Na základě výsledků z dotazníkového šetření jsou vedeny polostrukturované rozhovory s učiteli cílené na potřeby učitelů v rámci jejich praktického zapojování deskových her ve výuce. Poslední částí práce je praktická část, která je zaměřená na konkrétní deskové hry a jejich možnosti zapojení ve výuce. Praktická část obsahuje čtyři metodické listy, které mají za cíl pomoci učitelům při zapojování deskových her do výuky v souladu s RVP ZV.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the use of board games as a motivational element of teaching and as a didactic tool in teaching. The work is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is an insight into the topic of didactic and methodological tools in teaching at the 1st grade of elementary school in connection with the game. Development of key competences using a board game as a didactic tool to fulfill educational goals at the 1st level of elementary school in accordance with RVP ZV. The empirical part contains quantitative and qualitative research. For the quantitative investigation, questionnaires among primary school teachers focusing on the use of board games (n=89) are used. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, semistructured interviews with teachers are conducted, targeting the needs of teachers in the framework of their practical involvement of board games in teaching. The last part of the thesis is the practical part, which is focused on specific board games and their possibilities of invol-vement in teaching. The practical part contains four methodical sheets, which aim to help teachers in including board games in teaching in ac-cordance with RVP ZV.
