Inclusive Education in Montessori Infant Schools

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku inkluzivního vzdělávání v Montessori mateřských školách. Popisuje, jaké jsou principy Montessori vzdělávacího směru, jakým způsobem probíhal jeho vývoj a společně s ním poukazuje na specifika jeho uplatňování v mateřských školách v České republice (ČR). Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část, kde je představen život Marie Montessori společně s jejím významným dílem. Následně jsou v rámci druhé kapitoly nastíněny základní principy, na nichž stojí celý koncept Montessori pedagogiky. Zmíněna je i problematika vývoje Montessori pedagogiky. Pozornost je věnována také roli učitele v konceptu Montessori pedagogiky a problematice aplikace Montessori pedagogiky v tuzemském prostředí. Další kapitola je zaměřena na předškolní vzdělávání v ČR a na inkluzivní vzdělávání v ČR. Empirická část práce obsahuje kvalitativní výzkum, analyzuje inkluzivní vzdělávání za pomocí Montessori metody v praxi, na základě rozhovorů s pedagogy. Analýze je podrobeno prostředí a podmínky jak Montessori mateřských škol, tak běžných mateřských škol.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of inclusive education in Montessori kindergartens. It describes the principles of the Montessori educational direction, how its development took place and together with it, points out the specifics of its application in kindergartens in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, where the life of Maria Montessori is presented together with her important work. Subsequently, the second chapter outlines the basic principles on which the whole concept of Montessori pedagogy is based. The issue of the development of Montessori pedagogy is also mentioned. Attention is also given to the role of the teacher in the concept of Montessori pedagogy and the issue of application of Montessori pedagogy in the domestic environment. The next chapter focuses on preschool education in the Czech Republic and inclusive education in the Czech Republic. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis contains qualitative research, analyses inclusive education using the Montessori method in practice, based on interviews with teachers. The environment and conditions of both Montessori kindergartens and regular kindergartens are analysed.
