The diploma thesis focuses on the search for psychological sources of consumeristic behaviour. Thesis consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part within the chapter devoted to the psychodynamic approach is based on the works of Erich Fromm. Diplomová práca sa zameriava na hľadanie psychologických koreňov konzumného správania. Pozostáva z teoretickej a empirickej časti.
