This Master Thesis deals with the issue of teachers´ pronunciation of English sounds that are non-existent or different in the Czech language and its influence on the pupil´s pronunciation. Teachers transfer their pronunciation during lessons when speaking English. It can be said that a teacher´s pronunciation is a model for pupils to follow.
