The police of the Czech Republic and its competence in combating terrorism

Anotace:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá policií ČR a její kompetencí v boji proti terorismu. Teoretická část popisuje v první řadě historický vývoj i stávající postavení a úlohu Policie ČR na českém území, dále je pak řešena definice terorismu, klasifikace teroristických útoků a jejich historie na území ČR. Závěr teoretické části je zasvěcen roli Policie ČR v prevenci i řešení teroristických aktivit. V rámci praktické části jsou uvedeny výsledky provedeného šetření mezi českou veřejností.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the police of the Czech Republic and its competence in the fight against terrorism. The theoretical part describes first of all the historical development and the current position and role of the Police of the Czech Republic in the Czech territory, then the definition of terrorism, classification of terrorist attacks and their history in the Czech Republic is addressed. The conclusion of the theoretical part is dedicated to the role of the Police of the Czech Republic in the prevention and solution of terrorist activities. The practical part presents the results of a survey conducted among the Czech public.
