Nursing Care for a Patient with a Diagnosis of Pancreatic Tumor in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Anotácia:

Tématem bakalářské práce je Ošetřovatelská péče u nemocného s diagnózou tumor pankreatu na chirurgickém oddělení intenzivní péče. Tato práce se věnuje specifikám ošetřovatelské péče a teoretickým východiskům ošetřovatelského procesu. Práce má část teoretickou a praktickou. Praktická část se věnuje ošetřovatelskému procesu u muže s diagnózou tumor pankreatu, který je ošetřován na chirurgické jednotce intenzivní péče. Konkrétně je zde popsán den příjmu pacienta z operačního sálu na JIP. Jsou stanoveny a rozpracovány aktuální a potenciální diagnózy. V závěru je vypracované doporučení pro všeobecné sestry, pacienty a rodinné příslušníky.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is nursing care for a patient with a diagnosis of pancreatic tumor in the surgical intensive care unit. This thesis focuses on the specifics of the nursing care and the theoretical background of the nursing process. Thesis contains theoretical part and a practical part. The practical part focuses on the nursing process of a man diagnosed with a tumor of the pancreas, which is treated at the surgical ward of ICU. Specifically, the day the patient is admitted from the operating room to the ICU is described here. The current and potential diagnoses are stated and described. In the conclusion, recommendations are developed for nurse practitioners, patients and family members.
