Implementation of semantic daty in selected DBMS

Abstract:

Diplomová práce popisuje sémantické přístupy v databázových technologiích. Můžeme ji rozdělit na několik části. V první části se zabývám nejčastějším využití sémantických modelů a to je v dnešní době sémantický web. Další část popisuje, způsob uchovávaní dat v sémantických modelech prostřednictvím ontologií a jak tyto ontologie vznikají. Následuje kapitola o využití dedukce v databázích. Předposlední část popisuje sémantické přístupy ve vybraných systémech řízení báze dat. Diplomová práce je ukončena návrhem a následnou implementaci příkladu znázorňující využití sémantických modelů ve vybraném systému řízení báze dat.

Abstract:

The Master Thesis describes various semantic approaches in database technology. This Thesis can be divided into several parts. The first part deals with the most common use of a semantic model which is a semantic web nowadays . The next part describes the ways of data storage in semantic models through the ontology and how these ontologies are created. This is followed by a chapter about the uses of deduction in databases. The penultimate part describes semantic approaches in the chosen database management system. The Master Thesis is ended by the designed example and its implementation representing semantics models into chosen database management system.
