Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Výuka výslovnosti na základních školách se zaměřením na segmentální rysy a vybrané aspekty vázané řeči“ se zabývá mladšími žáky a vlivem systematické výuky výslovnosti na jejich ústní projev. Práce porovnává dvě skupiny žáků, z nichž pouze jedna skupina věnuje výslovnosti čas navíc, a sleduje možné zlepšení této skupiny. Teoretická část práce poskytuje obecné informace o výslovnosti, pojednává o vybraných rysech výslovnosti a dává nahlédnout do procesu výuky výslovnosti a konkrétních vyučovacích postupů. Empirická část popisuje výzkum provedený ve škole. V této části je uveden cíl výzkumu, výzkumná otázka a hypotéza. Dále jsou představeny plán a metodika výzkumu a informace o výzkumném vzorku a sběru dat. Hlavní část prezentuje výsledky výzkumu.

Abstract:

The Master's thesis “Pronunciation Teaching at Primary Schools With a Focus on Segmental Features and Selected Aspects of Connected Speech” deals with young learners and the impact that systematic pronunciation teaching has on their oral performances. It compares two groups of learners, out of which only one group devotes extra time to pronunciation, and observes the possible improvement of this group. The theoretical part of the thesis provides general information about pronunciation, discusses selected features of pronunciation and gives an insight into the process of pronunciation teaching and particular teaching procedures. The empirical part encompasses the research conducted at school. This section states the aims of the research, research question and hypothesis, it presents the research design and methodology, and it conveys information about the research sample and data collection. The major section of this empirical part presents the results of the research.
