Motivation of employees and leadership in a company XY

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá motivací zaměstnanců a leadershipem ve vybrané společnosti. Teoretická část obsahuje základní pojmy z oblasti motivace a leadershipu. Teoretický základ bude dále sloužit jako výchozí bod pro empirickou část bakalářské práce. Praktická část zahrnuje představení společnosti, analýzu stávajícího systému motivace, identifikaci nedostatků a navržení konkrétních doporučení. V práci jsou použity metody srovnání teorie s praxí, analýza interních materiálů společnosti, pozorování, aplikace vybraných motivačních nástrojů v praxi a dotazníkové šetření. Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza stávajícího systému motivace ve vybrané společnosti se zaměřením na motivaci týmu, identifikace silných a slabých stránek a analýza úrovně leadershipu a jeho vliv na motivaci zaměstnanců. Přínosem bakalářské práce je formulace doporučení k lepšímu využití motivačních nástrojů, které umožňují rozvíjet a posouvat tým dopředu. Za přínos lze také považovat získání motivačních zkušeností v praxi.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the motivation of employees and leadership in selected company. The theoretical part summarises basic concepts of motivation and leadership. It will also serve as a starting point for the empirical part of the thesis. The practical part includes introducing the company, analysing the current motivation system, identifying deficiencies and proposing specific recommendations. Methodology in this thesis is based on comparing the theory to the real situations. It contains analysis of internal materials of the company, observation and subsequent application of selected motivation techniques and tools in practice and finally results of a survey.The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current motivation system of a selected company, regarding motivation of a team. Identification of strengths and weaknesses of the current motivation system. Furthermore, analysis of the leadership level and its impact on motivation of employees. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to deliver recommendations of usage of the motivation tools and to develop the entire team. The last benefit of this thesis is obtaining motivation experience in practice.
