Long-term three-month physiotheraphy and occupational theraphy in women after stroke

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením komplexní rehabilitace pacientek po cévní mozkové příhodě. Cílem práce bylo posoudit motorické postižení, soběstačnost, míru funkční nezávislosti pacientek a zhodnocení vlivu komplexní rehabilitační intervence v jednotlivých činnostech běžného života (ADL) u pacientek po CMP hospitalizovaných na Doléčovacím a rehabilitačním oddělení Fakultní nemocnice U sv. Anny v Brně. Do studie bylo zařazeno celekm 21 pacientek s průměrným věkem 72,62 roku. Jako hodnotící nástroj byl k objektivizaci velikosti poruchy, aktivity a participace zvolen Test funkční nezávislosti (FIM test). Test byl proveden před zahájením rehabilitace a před ukončením hospitalizace. Sledovány byly vzájemné vztahy mezi tíží motorického postižení, soběstačností, mírou funkční nezávislosti při běžných denních činnostech. Ke statistickému zhodnocení byl využit t-test pro závislé vzorky, znaménkový test a t-testu pro nezávislé vzorky Výsledky této práce prokázaly význam komplexní rehabilitační péče u pacientek po cévní mozkové příhodě. Komplexní rehabilitační program vedl ke zvýšení míry funkční nezávislosti a samostatnosti při běžných denních činnostech. Cílená rehabilitace a ergoterapie je tedy prostředkem ke zvýšení míry funkční nezávislosti a zvýšení kvality života.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the evaluation of complex rehabilitation of patients after stroke. The aim of the study was to assess motor disability, self-reliance , peace functional independence of patients and evaluate the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation interventions in the various activities of daily life (ADL ) in patients after a stroke hospitalized at Aftercare and rehabilitation department of the University Hospital St . Anna University . The study included 21 patients a whole with an average age of 72.62 years. As an evaluation tool was objectification sizes disorders , activities and participation of the selected test functional independence (FIM test). The test was performed before the start of rehabilitation and before the end of hospitalization . Investigated the relationship between the severity of motor impairment , self-sufficiency level of functional independence in activities of daily life . The statistical evaluation was used t -test for dependent samples , the sign test and t - test for independent samples The results of this study showed the importance of comprehensive rehabilitation in patients after stroke. A comprehensive rehabilitation program led to increased levels of functional independence and autonomy in activities of daily life . Targeted physiotherapy and occupational therapy is therefore a means to increase the level of functional independence and quality of life .
