The Bank Union - The Bank Resolution Fund

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with possible solution to the current crisis in the form of a uniform mechanism for supervision of banks by the European Central Bank. The first chapter is the theoretical definition of work. I focused in on her definition of the banking sector. The second chapter deals with the debt crisis in the euro area, its impact on the banking sector and a uniform surveillance mechanism of the European Central Bank over other banks. Content of the third chapter is closer to the bank restructuring fund, which is another pillar of the banking union and has put in place common rules against bank failures.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá možným riešením súčasnej krízy v podobe jednotného mechanizmu dohľadu nad bankami zo strany Európskej centrálnej banky. Prvá kapitola je teoretickým vymedzením práce. Zamerala som sa v nej na vymedzenie bankového sektora. V druhej kapitole sa venujem dlhovej kríze v eurozóne, jej vplyvu na bankový sektor a jednotnému mechanizmu dohľadu Európskej centrálnej banky nad ostatnými bankami. Obsahom tretej kapitoly je priblíženie fondu na ozdravenie bánk, ktorý je ďalším pilierom bankovej únie a má zaviesť spoločné pravidlá proti úpadku bánk
