Brachyterapie je metoda léčby ionizujícím zářením a využívá se v léčbě kurativní, adjuvantní, ale i paliativní péči. Zdroj záření je umisťován co nejblíže k nádorové lézi nebo přímo do nádoru. Abstract:
Brachytherapy is a method of ionizing radiation treatment and is used in the treatment of curative, adjuvant, and palliative care. The radiation source is placed as close to the tumor lesion as possible or directly into the tumor. It is often combined with teletherapy.
