Reward and Punishment in the Education of a Child

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována nejčastěji užívaným výchovným prostředkům, od- měnám a trestům. Na dané téma jsem nahlížela z pohledu rodičů. Zajímaly mě jejich názory a postoje k dané problematice, která je v současnosti hojně diskutovaná. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. První část mé diplomové práce obecně informuje o odměnách a trestech. Jsou zde vysvětleny klíčové pojmy týkající se dané problematiky. Práce obsahuje základní charakteristiku odměn a trestů, jejich typy a rizika spojená s jejich užíváním. Druhá část mé diplomové práce prezentuje a vyhodnocuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření. Jsou zde analyzovány názory a postoje rodičů na odměny a tresty ve výchově dítěte. Práce je určena zejména pro rodiče, učitele a vychovatele.

Abstract:

My thesis is devoted to the most commonly used means of education, rewards and punishments. On the theme I peered from the perspective of parents. I was interested in their opinions and attitudes to these issues, which are extensively discussed today. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The first part of my thesis informs about rewards and punishments in general. There are explained main terms regarding this topic. The thesis includes information about basic characteristic of rewards and punishments, their types and dangerous associated with them. The second part of my thesis presents and evaluates results of the research. There are analyzed opinions and postures of parents on rewards and punishments in the education of a child. The thesis is especially intended for parents, teachers and educators.
