Abstract:

Neinfekční onemocnění hromadného výskytu mají ve vyspělých i rozvojových oblastech vzrůstající tendenci, a to i přes probíhající osvětu ze strany odborníků. Pojem metabolický syndrom, který pod sebe zahrnuje více těchto onemocnění, je v populaci stále častější a jeho přítomnost s sebou nese hrozbu předčasného úmrtí. Začátek práce je věnován objasnění pojmu metabolický syndrom a jeho definici. Většina práce se zabývá režimovými opatřeními a preventivním pohledem na problematiku metabolického syndromu a jeho jednotlivých složek, včetně jejich zkrácené charakteristiky a správné diagnostiky jednotlivých onemocnění. I přes obrovský vývoj moderní medicíny nejúčinnější strategií v jeho léčbě stále zůstává, pro některé jedince obtížná, změna životního stylu. Jedním ze základních pilířů léčby metabolického syndromu je správná výživa, kdy zásadám správné výživy je věnována celá kapitola. Zásadní prvky týkající se pouze nutrice u jednotlivých onemocnění spadajících pod metabolický syndrom jsou pak uvedeny v příslušných kapitolách. Druhým pilířem léčby je vhodně zvolená pohybová aktivita, kterou se zabývá poslední kapitola teoretické části. Praktická část zahrnuje dvě kazuistiky a převádí teorii do individuální nutriční intervence. Poukazuje na její nenahraditelné místo v komplexní terapii metabolického syndromu.

Abstract:

Despite increasing awareness of experts, non-infectious diseases of mass occurrence have had a growing tendency in both developed and developing regions. The concept of metabolic syndrome, which covers more of these diseases, became more frequent in the population, and its presence brings a threat of premature death. The beginning of this bachelor thesis is devoted to defining, and clarifying, the concept of metabolic syndrome. Most of the work deals with lifestyle measures and preventive perspective on the issue of metabolic syndrome and its singles components. The work also includes shortcut characteristics and the correct diagnosis of different diseases. Despite the huge development of modern medicine, change in lifestyle still remains the most effective strategy in treating metabolic syndrome. Though this solution is simple, it can still be very difficult for some people to make a significant lifestyle change. One of the pillars in the treatment of the metabolic syndrome is correct nutrition. The entire chapter devotes principles of good nutrition. In the relevant chapters are described essential elements relating to nutrition in singles diseases of metabolic syndrome. The appropriately selected physical activities are the second pillar of treatment and are discussed in the last chapter of this theoretical part. The practical part of the thesis includes two case reports and transfers theory into individual nutritional intervention. It points to its irreplaceable role in the comprehensive treatment of the metabolic syndrome.
