Implementation of European strategy for sustainable development in the Czech republic and France

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Implementace evropské strategie pro udržitelný rozvoj v České republice a ve Francii“ je srovnání odrazu první „Strategie udržitelného rozvoje Evropské unie“ a druhé „Obnovené strategie Evropské unie pro udržitelný rozvoj“ v legislativě a činnosti veřejné správy České republiky a Francie. První dvě části diplomové práce jsou zaměřeny na popis vývoje problematiky udržitelného rozvoje na mezinárodní a evropské úrovni a na analýzu evropských strategií pro udržitelný rozvoj. Ve třetí části je nejdříve u obou států provedena analýza národních strategií pro udržitelný rozvoj, které by měly reflektovat ty evropské, a popis institucí veřejné správy, zabývajících se implementací udržitelného rozvoje na ústřední, regionální a místní úrovni. Následně je provedeno srovnání situace v obou státech. Poslední část práce je zaměřena na celkové zhodnocení aktuální úrovně implementace Obnovené strategie Evropské unie pro udržitelný rozvoj v obou zemích.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: „Implementation of the European strategy for sustainable development in the Czech Republic and France” is the analysis of the first „EU Sustainable Development Strategy“ and the second „Renewed EU Sustainable Development Strategy“ as their reflection in the legislation and the activities of public administration in the Czech Republic and France. The first two parts are focused on the historical description of sustainable development at international and European level and the analysis of the European sustainable development strategies. The third part primarily describes the national sustainable development strategies, which should reflect the European strategies, and public administration involved in implementing sustainable development at central, regional and local level. Secondarily compares the situation in both countries. The last part is focused on the overall assessment of the current level of implementation of the Renewed EU sustainable development strategy in both countries.
