The quality of nursing in long-term care

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce zjistit úroveň kvality poskytované ošetřovatelské péče v Léčebně dlouhodobě nemocných, kde se jedná především o starší pacienty se sníženou mobilitou a potřebou zvýšené ošetřovatelské péče. Kvalitu péče určuje významně i spokojenost pacientů a zdravotnického personálu. V teoretické části je uvedena charakteristika ošetřovatelství a ošetřovatelského procesu, určení indikátorů kvality ošetřovatelské péče, nutnost vytvoření ošetřovatelských standardů a samotný ošetřovatelský audit. Druhá část se zabývá kvalitou ošetřovatelské péče, pohledy na ní, její zvyšování a hodnocení. V třetí části je popsána koncepce následné péče a základní informace o Léčebně dlouhodobě nemocných, ve které byl výzkum prováděn. Praktická část se zabývá auditem ošetřovatelské péče zaměřeným na podávání léků per os, výskyt dekubitů a pádů u pacientů. Následuje porovnání auditu se spokojeností pacientů a sester. V diskuzi a závěru jsou vyhodnoceny stanovené cíle a výzkumné otázky.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor paper is to state the level of the healthcare quality provided in the hospice mainly concerning elderly patients with decreased mobility and with the need of increased healthcare. The satisfaction of the patients and the staff significantly determines the healthcare quality. In the theoretical part introduces the healthcare characteristics and the process, the determination of the healthcare quality indicators, the necessity of the creation of healthcare norms and the healthcare audit itself. The second part considers the healthcare quality, its different views and increasing and evaluation. The conception of subsequent care and the basic information about the hospice where was the research held is described in the third part. The practical part concerns the healthcare audit aimed at the medicine of every person, the occurrence of decubitus and the falls of the patients. The following part concerns the contrast of audit with the satisfaction of the patients and the staff. The given aims and research questions are evaluated in the discussion and the epilogue.
