The Point of View of Students of the Secondary Schools on the Speech Impediments

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Pohledy žáků středních škol na narušenou komunikační schopnost“ pojednává o způsobech nazírání těchto žáků na deficity v komunikaci u jejich vrstevníků. V práci je popsán termín střední vzdělávání, dále je zde rozepsána stručná charakteristika žáka střední školy, která je zaměřená na socializaci, na utváření interpersonálních vztahů a na komunikační kompetence. Další část práce je věnována termínu narušená komunikační schopnost a práce se zaměřuje na deficity ve vývoji v komunikaci, zvláště pak na poruchy artikulace, fluence řeči a na specifika komunikace u žáků se speciálními poruchami učení. Cílem kvantitativního výzkumu je zjistit odpověď na výzkumnou otázku „Jak vnímají žáci středních škol své vrstevníky a dospělé s narušenou komunikační schopností?“ Součástí práce je také zjištění zda s respondenty žijí jedinci s NKS ve společné domácnosti a zda tito jedinci mají jiné pohledy na tyto deficity. Dále mě zajímalo, do jaké míry tyto názory ovlivňuje věk respondentů, mínění respondentů, zda NKS může ovlivnit budoucí kariéru a zda jsou žáci s NKS hůře hodnoceni učiteli.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis called “The Viewpoints of the Students of the Secondary Schools on the Disrupted Communication Ability” is concerned with the points of view of these students on the communication deficits of their children of the same age. In the thesis there is explained the term of secondary education. You can find a short characteristic of student of secondary school, which is focused on socialization, on formation of interpersonal relationships and on communication competences, in the thesis. The other part of the thesis is dealt with the term of disrupted communication ability and I concentrate on the deficits in development of communication, especially on articulation disorders, fluency of speech and on communication specifics of students with learning disabilities. By the aim of quantitative research, it is answer to research question “How do students of secondary schools perceive their children of the same age and adults with disrupted communication ability?” In my thesis I try to found out whether individuals with disrupted communication ability live with respondents together and whether these respondents have different viewpoints on these deficits. Next I was interested in how much age of respondents influences their opinions and whether disrupted communication ability can influence a future career of this person and whether teachers assess students with disrupted communication ability worse than the other students.
