Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Informovanost žen se sluchovým postižením o těhotenství, porodu a péči o dítě v ČR je rozčleněna do čtyř kapitol. První tři teoretické kapitoly vycházejí z pojednání o sluchovém postižení jako specifickém problému neslyšících žen, matek, spojeném s problémy při získávání informací komunikací, čtením, psaním. Předkládají soubor pojmů o mateřství a přehled institucí pečujících o těhotné, a to jako podkladu ke sledování jejich znalostí neslyšícími ženami. Čtvrtá empirická část šetří stav informovanosti těhotných matek a na základě zjištění navrhuje způsoby odstranění nedostatků.

Abstract:

The thesis "The Way Deaf Women are Informed about Pregnancy, Childbirth and Child-welfare in the Czech Republic" is divided into four chapters.The first three theoretical chapters go out from the outline of being deaf as a specific problem of deaf women, mothers connected with problems when getting information by communication, reading and writing. The set of terms concerning maternity is submitted as well as the survey of institutions caring of pregnant women, namely as a basis for screening their knowledge by deaf women. The fourth empirical chapter analyses the present state of information pregnant women are given, and on that basis the way of improving the situation is suggested.
