Magnetic resonance imaging of large joints

Abstract:

V této práci se zabývám problematikou magnetické rezonance velkých kloubů. Magnetická rezonance je zobrazovací metoda, která má nejvyšší rozlišovací schopnost kontrastu měkkých tkání ze všech v současnosti používaných zobrazovacích metod.Díky této vlastnosti přispívá magnetická rezonance k odhalení mnoha kloubních onemocnění a poskytuje dokonalou diagnostickou informaci. V teoretické části mé bakalářské práce uvádím anatomii a patologii kloubů. V další části popisuji princip magnetické rezonance , použití kontrastních látek a nemohu opomenout také indikace a kontraindikace k vyšetření magnetickou rezonancí.V závěru teoretické části mé bakalářské práce popisuji MR obraz ramenního a kolenního kloubu.Zajímala jsem se také o MR vyšetření kolenního kloubu, které podrobněji popisuji v praktické části mé bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the problems of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the main joints of the body. Magnetic resonance is an imaging instrument which has the highest differentiation ability, in terms of contrast of soft tissues, compared to other imaging instruments. Due to this property, magnetic resonance makes for the discovering of many articular illnesses and provides perfect diagnostic information. In the theoratical part of my work I introduce the anatomy and pathology of joints, in the following part I describe the principles of magnetic resonance, the use of contrast and at the same time I also write about the indications and contraindications of examinations by magnetic resonance. In the final theoratical part I describe the MR images of the shoulder and knee joint. I was especially interested in the examination of the knee joint by magnetic resonance imaging which I describe thoroughly in the practical part of my work.
