Transformation project of the financial statements into financial statements according to the IAS/IFRS in company Plastika Inc.

Abstract:

Předmětem mé diplomové práce je transformace účetní závěrky společnost Plastika a. s., která je sestavená v souladu s českými účetními předpisy, na závěrku vypracovanou podle Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. První teoretická část se zabývá směry harmonizace účetnictví, popisem vybraných standardů a jejich srovnáním s českou účetní legislativou. V závěru části je stručně popsána finanční analýza. Druhá analytická část je zaměřena na analýzu účetních výkazů, úpravu jednotli-vých položek a zhodnocení vlivu převodu na finanční analýzu. Poslední projektová část obsahuje sestavené účetní výkazy podle Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví a návrh postupu přechodu na vykazování podle IAS/IFRS.

Abstract:

The subject of my master thesis is transformation of financial statements of Plastika Inc., which are assembled according to Czech Accounting Regulations, into financial state-ment in agreement with International Financial Reporting Standards. The master thesis is divided into three parts. The first theoretical part deals with accounting harmonization ori-entations, describes some of International Accounting Standards and compares them with Czech Accounting Legislation. In conclusion of this part, there is made a brief comment on financial analysis. The second analytical part is focused on financial statements analysis, modifications of the individual items of financial statements and there is also the evalua-tion of transformation influence on the financial analysis. The last project part includes financial statements, which are drawn in agreement with International Financial Reporting Standards, and project of implementation International Financial Reporting Standards.
