ICT Education in upper secondary school and its reflection by first year students of teacher training disciplines at the university

Abstract:

Zaměření diplomové práce se soustřeďuje do oblasti informačního vzdělávání v kontextu vysokoškolské přípravy studentů na učitelské povolání. Hlavní cíl práce byl zaměřen na realizaci výzkumného šetření, kterým bylo zjišťováno, jak studenti prvního ročníku učitelských oborů hodnotí svou středoškolskou přípravu v oblasti práce a užívání ICT. Současně bylo zkoumáno, do jaké míry studenti očekávají potřebnost další přípravy v této problematice na vysoké škole. Také bylo zjišťováno, zda mezi hodnocením středoškolské přípravy a očekávanou mírou potřebnosti přípravy v dané problematice není závislost. Práce byla rozdělena do dvou částí. První část byla zaměřena na hlavní teoretická východiska a současné stěžejní strategické dokumenty vzdělávání v oblasti ICT. Dále zde byla probírána terminologická problematika, strategické plány a vize vzdělávání, doposud realizovaná vybraná výzkumná šetření a oblast kompetencí a jejich změn v profesi učitele informační společnosti. V druhé části práce je popsáno realizované výzkumné šetření. V úvodu jsou kapitoly zaměřeny na popis přípravy a realizace výzkumu. Dále je nastíněno, jakým způsobem byla získaná data zpracována. Poslední dvě kapitoly byly věnovány samotnému vyhodnocení výsledků, jejich interpretaci a celkovému shrnutí.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on an area of information education in the context of university preparation of students for a teacher's profession. The main goal of the thesis was focused on the realization of research that surveyed how the first year students of the teacher training disciplines rate their highschool education in working with ICT and its usage. Concurrently, it has been investigated to what extent students expect the need for further training in this field at the university. The dependance between assessment of highschool education and the expected level of need for training in the subject has been also surveyed. The thesis was divided into two parts. First part of the thesis was focused on the main theoretical areas and the actual key strategic documents of education in ICT field. First part also disscused strategic plans and visions of education, selected realizated researches and the field of competences a their changes in a teacher profession for the information society. The research is described in the second part of the thesis. In the outset are chapters that are focused on a description of a research preparation and realization. In the following part of the thesis is outlined how were the obtained data processed. The two last chapters were dedicated to the evaluation of the results themselves, their interpretation and the overall summary.
