The diagnosis of the financial health of travel agency

Anotace:

Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce je Diagnóza finančního zdraví vybrané cestovní kanceláře, kde jsem si zvolila nejstarší cestovní kancelář ČEDOK a.s. Cílem této diplomové práce je primárně zjistit na základě provedené finanční analýzy, finanční stabilitu cestovní kanceláře ČEDOK a.s.. Zároveň je práce zaměřena na hodnocení finanční situace analyzovaného podniku od roku 2008 do roku 2011. Diplomová práce se skládá celkem ze třech částí, které celkem tvoří osm kapitol. První teoretická část obsahuje celkem tři kapitoly, ve kterých je uvedena základní podstata a pojmy finanční analýzy. Součástí druhé a třetí kapitoly jsou poměrové ukazatele finanční analýzy, bonitní a bankrotní ukazatele, které jsem v následující analytické části aplikovala na mnou vybraný podnik. Analytická část diplomové práce se zaobírá přímo finanční analýzou podniku Ck ČEDOK a.s.. První část analytické části práce zahrnuje stručný popis a seznámení se se společnosti a v následující části jsou zhodnoceny jednotlivé účetní výkazy podniku jako je rozvaha, výkaz zisku a ztráty a to jak z horizontálního hlediska, tak i vertikálního hlediska. Šestá kapitola diplomové práce obsahuje jednotlivé poměrové ukazatele finanční analýzy, praktikované v praxi na mnou zvolený podnik. Sedmá kapitola seznamuje s bankrotnímí a bonitními modely, díky nímž lze zjistit finanční situaci podniku. Třetí část diplomové práce zahrnuje návrhovou část, kde jsou na základě získaných teoretických poznatků a zhotovení finanční analýzy podniku mnou stanovená jednotlivá opatření a návrhy vedoucí k lepšímu postavení společnosti. Na bázi zjištěných výsledků jsem přispěla k závěru, že společnost Ck ČEDOK a.s je finančně stabilní a je možné zkonstatovat,

Abstract:

The main topic of this thesis is the Diagnosis of the financial health of the chosen travel agency, where I chose the oldest travel agency as ČEDOK a.s. The aim of this thesis is primarily identified on the basis of the financial analysis, financial stability Travel Agents ČEDOK a.s.. This work is focused on the assessment of the financial situation of the analyzed company from 2008 to 2011. The thesis comprises a total of three parts, which consists of eight chapters in total. The first theoretical part contains three chapters, which provide a basic principle and concepts of financial analysis. Part of the second and third chapters are ratios of financial analysis, value and bankruptcy indicators that I applied the following analysis of the selected company to me. The analytical part of the thesis deals with the right financial analysis Ck ČEDOK as. The first part of the analysis includes a brief description and introduction to the company and in the following sections are evaluated individual financial statements of the enterprise as a balance sheet, profit and loss, both in terms of the horizontal and the vertical point of view. The sixth chapter of the thesis contains various financial ratios analysis, practiced on me in practice the selected business. The seventh chapter introduces bankrotnímí and credible models that allow you to determine the financial situation of the company. The third part of the thesis covers the design area, where they are on the basis of theoretical knowledge and making financial analysis provided me the measures and proposals leading to better position the company. Based on those results, I contributed to the conclusion that Ck ČEDOK as is financially stable and can admission of being located at an average level, which is very positive for its future development.
