The impact of the activities of the Bílá Holubice Association on the quality of life of people with disabilities

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se věnuji kvalitě života osob se zdravotním postižením. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda a jak aktivity spolku Bílá holubice, který se zabývá integrací zdravotně postižených občanů do většinové společnosti, a to prostřednictvím tance a divadla, působí na kvalitu života osob se zdravotním postižením. První část diplomové práce se zabývá základním rozdělením zdravotního postižení a kvality života osob se zdravotním postižením. Dále je v teoretické částí věnována pozornost konceptu empowerment a popisu činnosti spolku Bílá holubice. Ve výzkumné částí se diplomová práce zaměřuje na to, jak spolek Bílá holubice ovlivňuje kvalitu života u osob se zdravotním postižení prostřednictvím, výsledky byly získány prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů.

Abstract:

In my master thesis I focused on the quality of life of people with disabilities. The main goal of my thesis is to investigate if and how activities of the Bílá holubice association, which tries to integrate people with disabilities into the major society by the dance and theatre performances, affects the quality of life of these people. The first part of my work is focused on the basic characterization of the term health disability and the people with diabilities quality of life. Next, the concept of the empowerment is characterized there, and this part of the thesis is finished by the description of the Bílá holubice association. In the practical part of the master thesis, I focused on how Bílá holubice association influence the quality of life of people with disabilities, the results were obtained by the technique of the semi-structural interviews.
