Design and Implemetation of Controlling for small and mid size companies

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis focuses on the implementation and use of controlling in small and mid size companies. The thesis is divided into three parts where the first part is devoted to explanation of history, functions and tasks of controlling and understanding of controlling and also onto controller as a person. The second part of the work focuses on controlling in the selected company and its current practice in cooperation with management and the roles and responsibilities of controlling department. In the last part, thesis describes the opportunities and recommendations to improve the utilization of controlling in management of the company.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou zavedenia a využívania controllingu v malých a stredných podnikoch. Práca je rozdelená do troch častí, kde prvá časť je zameraná na vysvetlenie histórie, funkcií a úloh controllingu a samotné chápanie controllingu a tiež na osobu controlléra. V druhej časti sa práca zameriava na controlling vo vybranom podniku a aktuálnej praxi pri spolupráci s manažmentom a na úlohy a zodpovednosti úseku controlling. V poslednej časti práca popisuje navrhnuté príležitosti a odporúčania na zlepšenie využitia controllingu pri výkone riadenia v podniku.
