Abstract:
Treponematózy jsou onemocnění způsobená bakteriemi z rodu Treponema spadajícími do čeledi Spirochaetaceae. Mezi tyto bakterie patří i Treponema pallidum pallidum, která způsobuje venerickou syfilis. Původ nemoci a její šíření po světě je stále předmětem dohadů. Abstract:
Treponematosis is an infectious disease caused by spirochetes of the genus Treponema. This genus includes Treponema pallidum pallidum, which causes veneral syphilis. The origin of treponematosis is still not clear. Veneral syphilis can be acquired or congenital. Acquired syphilis is mostly transmitted through sexual contact.
