Hunting tourism in the Czech Republic and in international contexts

Abstract:

Lovecký cestovní ruch je formou cestovního ruchu, která zaznamenává rozkvět. V České republice doposud chyběly teoretické i analytické výstupy dané problematiky. Cílem disertační práce je zhodnocení příjezdového loveckého cestovního ruchu do České republiky a zhodnocení nabídky pro rozvoj loveckého cestovního ruchu v České republice. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních kapitol. První kapitola je teoreticko-metodologického charakteru a na základě sekundárních zdrojů shrnuje současný stav poznání v dané oblasti. Zároveň obsahuje metodologický aparát, ze kterého následně vychází analytická část práce. Druhá hlavní kapitola se věnuje zahraniční poptávce po loveckém cestovním ruchu. Třetí kapitola rozebírá nabídku loveckého cestovního ruch v České republice. V závěrečné čtvrté kapitole jsou diskutovány závěry a výsledky výzkumů, zejména s ohledem na dosavadní stav poznání zkoumané problematiky v České republice, ale zejména v zahraničí. Teoretická část práce je sestavena na základě rešerše odborné literatury. V teoretické části práce je využita metoda induktivně-deduktivní. Analytická část práce využívá metod pozorování, dotazníkových šetření, hloubkových rozhovorů, analýzy, syntézy a komparace. Pro doplnění je aplikována metoda případových studií. V disertační práci byl vymezen pojem lovecký cestovní ruchu z pohledů různých autorů, byl určen rostoucí vývoj zahraniční poptávky po loveckém cestovním ruchu v České republice, byl vymezen profilový zákazník a jeho charakteristiky, lokality směru příjezdů. Byl určen ekonomický přínos pro Českou republiku a dále byly vytipovány regiony s největším potenciálem pro rozvoj této formy cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

Hunting tourism is a form of tourism that is booming. In the Czech Republic, the theoretical and analytical outputs of the given issue have been missing so far. The aim of the doctoral thesis is to evaluate the inbound hunting tourism in the Czech Republic and to evaluate the offer for the development of hunting tourism in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter is theoretical-methodological and summarizes the current state of knowledge in the given area on the basis of secondary sources. At the same time, it contains a methodological apparatus, from which the analytical part of the thesis follows. The second chapter deals with foreign demand for hunting tourism. The third chapter analyzes the offer of hunting tourism in the Czech Republic. The final fourth chapter discusses the conclusions and results of the research, especially with regard to the state of knowledge of the studied issue in the Czech Republic, but especially abroad. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on a literature research. In the theoretical part of the thesis the inductive-deductive method is used. The analytical part of the thesis uses observation methods, questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, analysis, synthesis and comparison. The case study method is applied to supplement. The doctoral thesis defined the concept of hunting tourism from the views of various authors, determined the growing development of foreign demand for hunting tourism in the Czech Republic, the profile customer and its characteristics, locations of arrivals. The economic benefit for the Czech Republic was determined and there were set regions with the greatest potential for development of this form of tourism.
