The role of the reader in hermeneutical philosophy.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá čtenářem a jeho rolí v rámci hermeneutické filosofie. Cílem je se blíže seznámit s rolí čtenáře, a to ve formě analýzy toho, kdy, jak a za jakých okolností tato role vznikla, tak také ve formě analýzy projevu, tedy toho, jak se role čtenáře v rámci hermeneutiky projevuje a co na tuto roli působí. Těmto otázkám se věnujeme konkrétním zkoumáním chování čtenáře při aktu čtení. Dále tato práce poukazuje k tomu, proč je role čtenáře zásadní pro porozumění literárnímu textu, v rámci porozumění tomu, jak tento text působí a proč je v rámci tohoto porozumění textu nutné vycházet právě ze čtenáře a proč je samotný moment rozumění textu ze strany čtenáře více odkázán na kompetenci čtenáře samotného nežli textu či autora tohoto textu. Tato práce bude zohledňovat i téma pragmatismu v literatuře. Role čtenáře bude taktéž popsána s ohledem na postmoderní etapu lidské společnosti. V této práci dochází k popisování role čtenáře také konkrétními jazykovými a sémantickými příklady.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the reader and his role, within the frame of hermeneutic philosophy. Its goal is to introduce the reader´s role by the analysis of when, how and under what circumstances the role manifests. The goal of this thesis is also achieved by analyzing the way how is the role of the reader apparent, within the frame of hermeneutics and what are the factors influencing the reader in the process of reading. This thesis also stresses how important is the role of the reader for understanding the text. It shows the way how the reader´s final comprehension of the text is more dependent on competence of the reader, rather than of the author of the text. This bachelor thesis also takes in account the theme of pragmatism in literature. On top of that this thesis describes the role of the reader in postmodern era. The reader´s role is also captured by concrete linguistic and semantic examples.
