The bachelor thesis is concerned with the problem of sanctions as a tool of foreign policy and their effectiveness. The focus of the bachelor thesis is the specific case of sanctions imposed by United States of America (US) against Cuba. Bakalárska práca sa zameriava na problematiku sankcií ako nástroja zahraničnej politiky a ich efektivitu. Konkrétnym prípadom, ktorý práca skúma, sú sankcie uložené zo strany Spojených štátov amerických (USA) voči Kube.
