Anotácia:

The subject of the thesis “The role of cash flow management in the success of start-up companies and projects” is an evaluation and confirmation of the role of cash flow management in small companies. The thesis covers theoretical research on basics of cash flow management, cash forecast and analysis of financial statements; as well as their importance in company’s financial and other activities. The practical part was aimed to analyze activity of chosen start-up, by applying gained theoretical knowledge. However, due to the size and the very short period of the company`s existing, the cash flow managing and forecasting still need further investigation. At the end of the research, minor practical recommendations for the company were pointed out.
