Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá povědomím slyšících pedagogů působících na základních školách pro sluchově postižené v České republice o kultuře Neslyšících. Vymezuje problematiku sluchově postižených, jejich komunikaci, v níž prioritní je mateřský jazyk neslyšících – český znakový jazyk. V diplomové práci se lze dozvědět o profilu jednotlivých základních škol pro sluchově postižené v České republice, o jejich filozofii a charakteristice. Následují informace o kultuře Neslyšících, o zvycích, tradicích a specifických potřebách Neslyšících. Empirická část práce je zaměřena na zjištění povědomí slyšících pedagogů na základních školách pro sluchově postižené v České republice o kultuře Neslyšících.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the awareness of hearing teachers working in elementary schools for the hearing impaired in the Czech Republic about the culture of the Deaf. It defines the issues of the hearing-impaired people and their communication, in which the native language of deaf people - Czech Sign Language - plays a major role. In this work one can find a profile of individual elementary schools for the hearing impaired in the Czech Republic, their philosophy and characteristics. There is further information about Deaf culture, the customs, traditions and specific needs of the deaf. The research focuses on the awareness of hearing teachers in elementary schools for the hearing impaired in the Czech Republic about the culture of the Deaf.
